Speakers Bio's:

Chris Mitchell is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft Developer Center Norway and has been in Norway for more than 5 years and with Microsoft for more than 15 years. He has focused his career on improving software performance looking at I/O, networking, and managed server performance. More recently big data processing and understanding data. Chris attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Computer Engineering.

Benjamin Weggersen started working as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft Development Center Norway last summer after graduating from NTNU with a Computer Science degree. He also studied abroad for one year at the University of California, San Diego. He has had internships at PayPal in San Jose, California, USA, and at BEKK in Trondheim, Norway. He is currently working on client-side code for platforms such as iOS, Android, and the web.
